Why The Drug Companies Are Worse Than The Tobacco Companies
It’s easy to hate the tobacco companies. We have known for half a century that smoking directly causes killer diseases like cancer and heart disease to name just two of them. And when the tobacco companies deny this in court and then are forced to pay out a fraction of their annual profits, exploiting the 3rd world and those on low incomes as they go, it is so easy to hate the tobacco companies.
But what about the drug companies? Sure, you hear about the odd isolated case where a drug was rushed to market and not tested properly. Patients suffer bad side effects and some of them even die.
But when all is said and done, surely the drug companies are helping us and are on our side, right?
WRONG!
The drug companies are in it for one thing and one thing only, pure profit. Why do you think that they employ aggressive sales reps to go to different doctors and peddle their own wares? Drugs are business and shareholders of drug companies don’t care about saving lives, they only care about money. It’s better to save lives and help people if it makes them money. But it’s even better to not cure people at all and keep them hooked on drugs.

Are those nicotine replacement products really in your best interest?
Now let’s take a look at some of the bad products that the drug companies peddle to people who want to quit smoking.
